Trail 42 - Bambo Tech T-shirt Review
Nice Present in the Post
We have been wearing the Trail 42 tech bamboo T-shirt for a number of months and keep reaching for it when we are going out for a ride. The T-shirt comes in 2 amazing colours which are both available in a male and female cut, it is good to see that the guys are catering for both the sexes in the product. We have female staff who are constantly complaining that MTB products are aimed and designed for the male market, big tick there.
We tested the medium size which fitted well around my 38" chest the top allows you to wear it next to the skin or with a base layer underneath making the tech top versatile in changeable Welsh weather. The top is slightly longer than my normal T-shirts however I liked this as it stopped the top riding up around my wrist band from my riding bag, nice feature, big tick!
Out on the Trail
The top feels great against the skin and has an excellent wicking quality as moisture is pulled from the skin at a good rate. Because the top is light weight once wet with sweat it drys quickly and minimises the discomfort of having a wet garment on. Another feature which I really liked is how the tech t-shirt didn't smell. This is great for us as their are times on our MTB expeditions where we might wear the same riding top for a couple of days in a row and a smelly guide is never nice to follow, another big tick!
Great Logo
Conclusion:
The top looks great with the label on the bottom right of the tech T-shirt showing everyone the Trail 42 logo, which is a great looking logo and is easily identifiable. It is hard to find anything negative about the tech t-shirt, however on a personal note it would be good to see some extra colours added to product.
Overall the product does exactly what it has set out to do, looks good, works exceedingly well and is priced well.
